Notes for GIS users

countyFips is the 3-digit county part as text ('031' Denver), countyName also available. account is the county assessor account number and is NOT unique statewide (R0008939 matched 3 parcels); filter by county when using it. A point that hits only a street returns 0 features.

How to use it

Assessor parcel lines are for taxation and are often 5 to 50 ft off the legal boundary. Why.

Basesheet uses this to draw the parcel line on a base plan for any Colorado address, with LiDAR contours, soils, flood zones and wetlands.
