Notes for GIS users

Layer 0 of the same service is a coverage footprint, not parcels. PRINT_KEY is only unique within a SWIS (municipality); pair with SWIS or use SWIS_PRINT_KEY_ID. COUNTY_NAME values have no spaces (e.g. 'NewYork', 'StLawrence'). NYC boroughs come from MapPLUTO (SBL = BBL, no PRINT_KEY). Geometry not edge-matched between counties.

How to use it

Assessor parcel lines are for taxation and are often 5 to 50 ft off the legal boundary. Why.

Basesheet uses this to draw the parcel line on a base plan for any New York address, with LiDAR contours, soils, flood zones and wetlands.
